Hotel with exceptional service! We stayed 3 nights at the Maison Tritone. Hotel has a good bunch of potential, but also some odd cons. Every one of the staff members were really customer first thinking, for example straight when we arrived, young man at the reception told us little bit services around. And the lady at breakfast served all drinks to the table every morning, and when we were leaving the hotel last time, young lady from reception helped our luggage to the taxi! Perfect service. Breakfast is one of this hotels best parts. There is plenty of options to choose from, much better than many other city hotel has to offer! Rooms were very clean and nicely decored, and they were also clened every day! Now for the cons. Hotel is part of the big building, and the entrance of the hotel is really shady metalgate in the wall with only little hint that there is actual hotel at all. After entering through that gate we were standing under some staircase without no knowledge were should we go next. So this is something really odd, and some people might even turn around. Some better logos or something should be there to indicate where you have arrived, and where you should go to find reception. After little bit looking, we found a door at the second floor, door looked like someone individual could actually live there. After stepping on we immediately noticed that the hotel gives way more bigger impression via pictures than it actually is. Another con is that Italian law control AC usage off and on season, while off season AC could not used for cold air, on season Its capabilities are restricted to only allow rooms to be around 25c which is really hot for many people to sleep in. And sleeping with windows open is not an option. So without AC air is not moving, and with AC it is blowing hot air.. Hotel is located along one of the biggest Rome city center roads, and therefore constant mad noices are coming to the rooms.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, it was close to the trevi fountain and spanish steps. The colosseum is approx 20 min walk and the vatican was easily accessible via the metro as there is a metro station less than 5 min walk away. Lovely room was lovely, modern and clean, and it had a fabulous rainfall shower. Enough towels and towelled bath robe provided. The room was cleaned impecably each day. The wardrobe space could have been better, but we had the room with the double whirlpool spa bath in the room. Given the choice, I'd opt for the double whirlpool spa bath still every time as this was more beneficial after a long day walking and very welcomed. The pillows were a little hard, and only 3 were provided in the room. Breakfast started at 7.30am, ideally it would have started a little earlier as some days we had to be out early for a tour and were unable to have breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good with lots of choice and we really enjoyed it. Very friendly and helpful staff who made the stay more comfortable and excellent recommendations for places to eat. They also organised our transfers for us, which was a lovely extra touch. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, and should we return to Rome we would definitely return to this hotel.

What a beautiful stay for 8 nights. Perfectly located in the heart of Rome (literally a few minutes away from the Trevi Fountain). Maison Tritone is a small and intimate hotel in a historic building, with large, modern and comfortable rooms, offering all the amenities that you would need: comfortable beds, AC, fridge with minibar, large TV set, safe-box, full set of toiletries. Cleanliness is at its best, done every day in a thorough manner. Breakfast is fresh, good and diverse (with more options than I have expected). But what makes a real difference compared to other hotels that I've been to is the people in charge. Alfredo and his family running the hotel are always present, discreet, supportive and nice. Careful and proactive, they took care of all our requests, offered advice and even proactive help. The ladies that are in charge of the breakfast and cleaning - Cristina and Alina - are going up and above. Overall, staying at Maison Tritone was a great choice which definitely enhanced our visit in Rome and the area. We can only be grateful for the extra care shown to us and for the professionalism and kindness of its people. We cannot recommend it enough and we will definitely be back.

We stayed at Maison Tritone for 5 nights at the end of a 5 week holiday in Germany, Czech Republic and Italy. We stayed in 4 star hotels during that time and found Maison Tritone was the best accommodation by far. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us. The room was very spacious, and the king size bed and the contoured memory foam pillows were very comfortable. As an Australian who doesn't speak a word of English and who relaxes watching Televisoin with a cup of tea, I particularly appreciated the 55inch colour television with English speaking channels including Netflix, and I also appreciated the tea & coffee making facilities that were provided as standard in our room. The bathroom was very luxurious, with marble walls and flooring. The shower recess was very spacious being about 90cm x 180cm with a non slip floor and a rain head shower fitting. Everything at Maison Tritone was wonderful, including its location. It had easy access to Barberini metro station & was withing 5 minutes walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and 10 minutes to the Spanish Steps. "perfetto"

Staying near the Trevi Fountain and Barberini is honestly such a vibe! You’re right in the heart of Rome, and being just a few steps from the Trevi Fountain means you can check out one of the most famous spots in the city whenever you want. It's super cool at night too, all lit up and way less crowded. Don’t forget to toss a coin in the fountain – they say it guarantees you'll come back to Rome! Plus, being close to Barberini is clutch because it’s got a metro station, so it’s easy to get around. The area feels a little quieter compared to the touristy spots, which is great if you need a break but still want to be close to all the action. There are tons of places to eat nearby—whether you're in the mood for pizza, pasta, or gelato, you’ll find plenty of options. And you can just wander around and stumble across cool museums, churches, and some awesome shopping, especially if you're into fashion. Overall, it’s such a sick spot if you want to experience Rome’s history, but also have access to some more chill places and get around easily.
